Hawaiian Poke Bowl
Hawaiian Poke Bowl:
Ingredients:
- 1 Neggst Patty
- 1 cup of rice
- 1/2 cup of cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup of marinated watermelon (see recipe below)
- 1/2 cup of edamame
- 1/2 cup of shredded purple cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced or diced
- 1 diced mango
- sesam seeds (optional)
For the marinated watermelon:
- 1 cup of watermelon, diced
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of agave syrup or sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
Instructions:
- Prepare the marinated watermelon:
- In a large bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, agave syrup, grated ginger, and garlic powder. Add the diced watermelon and mix well to coat the watermelon with the marinade. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Place a base of rice in a large bowl.Arrange the ingredients in sections on top of the rice: mango, cucumber, marinated watermelon, edamame, shredded purple cabbage, and avocado.Add the Neggst Patty ,sprinkle with sesame seeds.
